As mentioned in my previous blog post about Cresta de Gallo, we are very grateful that we’ve stayed in Sanctuary Garden.
Staying in Sanctuary Garden was the best decision we made. We were tempted to change plans during the RORO trip because I wasn’t getting any updates from my contact from the resort. When we went departed the ship, someone approached me and mentioned my name. Perhaps, it was gut feeling on his part to ask me and I immediately said “Yes, it’s me!”. It was one of the partners / owners of Sanctuary Garden and his name is Edgar. He brought his SUV and picked us up at the port then brought us to the resort. The reason that I didn’t receive his texts / calls is because of network problems. We felt so shy that he had to do this for us. This made me confirm the the things I read online that staff and especially owners of the resort go an extra mile for you.
