San Guillermo Parish Church is just one of the old churches in Pampanga that you should go to either you’re going there to have a Bisita Iglesia on Holy Week, attending a Misa de Gallo or if you’re just touring around Pampanga.

Inside the church

San Guillermo Parish Church is located in Bacolor, Pampanga. The church was named after the town’s patron saint, San Guillermo. The church was built in 1576 by Agustinian Friars. It was destroyed by an earthquake in 1880 and was later rebuilt in 1897.

The church during daytime

When Mount Pinatubo erupted in 1991, the church was half-buried. And yes, it is still half-buried when we went there last December 24, 2009.
