The Philippine Tarsier, is the smallest primate known to mankind. They are not only found in Bohol. They can also be found in Leyte, Samar and Mindanao although the tarsiers found in those areas are of different species. The Philippine Tarsiers have been a protected species for several years.

It is recommended that you rent there a car with a driver. They know where to bring you if you’ll mention that you wanna see a tarsier. You can also get souvenirs of a stuffed toy tarsier, t-shirts and more. :) Also, when having photo ops with the tarsier, make sure that you do not fire your camera flash. :) Your stay in Bohol won’t be complete without having photo ops with the tarsiers. :)
