People’s Park in the Sky
From, Indang, Cavite, we took the service from Cavite State University, one of the old universities in the country (since 1906), to go to the People’s Park in the Sky. We went there in the afternoon which does not seem to be a good idea since it is so foggy when we arrived.
The entrance fee is 15 pesos per head. For children below 5 years old, they get in for free. It is also important to note that you should bring a jacket with a hood or if it does not have a hood, you can bring a bonnet with you. It’s the top of Tagaytay, thus, expect it to be really cold there. Bring also some pocket money with you since you can get a lot of souvenirs there like t-shirts, caps, hats, and other handicrafts.
It is sad to say that this was not maintained well. I noticed that there’s a lot that needs to be repainted including its amphitheater. The giant pineapple displayed there also needs maintenance since noticed that there are some vandals inside the giant pineapple.
Have you been to Tagaytay City? If you’re on Facebook, let your friends know that you’ve been to Tagaytay.
