Estancia Resort Hotel is a 3-star hotel/resort in Tagaytay that you may want to try. It gives you a good view of the Taal Volcano too and also, you can use the amenities offered by the hotel/resort for free. 
It’s our first time to have an overnight stay at a Tagaytay hotel/resort.
I was able to book it online. Our room accommodation is an air-conditioned room with two queen-sized beds, a veranda/terrace, a bathroom with shower and bath tub (hot and cold water). The room is also provided with a mini refrigerator which came in handy for us so that we store our drinking water. It is also equipped with a TV set with cable. 
The room is actually quite big for two people. However, the package set for 78USD (instant confirmation) is only good for two adults and you have to pay extra amount per person. The said package already includes breakfast (choice of Filipino/American breakfast) The room can be accommodated by 4-5 people since it’s a big room.
Amenities of Estancia Resort Hotel
They have a playground for the kids, a swimming pool, a sauna and a jacuzzi. The sauna and jacuzzi may be used up to 9pm according to the front desk. They also have their own restaurant and it’s open up to 11pm only. And for those who are traveling for business in Tagaytay, Estancia Resort Hotel has WiFi but of course, you have to pay for it. One hour usage of the WiFi would cost you 90 pesos. But if you’re planning to use it for longer hours, they have other options to choose from. WiFi is not available in the rooms/cottages though.
The Executive Suites
The Executive Suites are duplex-types. The non-airconditioned rooms (fan rooms) are also of duplex-type but the fan rooms looks more like of a nipa hut.
Experiencing the great view from the veranda is truly worth it. It would be better though if you’ll stay at the second floor of the duplex since it offers a better view than the ones in the ground floor. In rooms situated on the ground floor, you may encounter plants/trees that might block your view of the Taal Lake.

Nagbook kami online sa Asia Rooms. 78 USD ung instant confirmation, yung room na yan exactly hehe. comes with two free breakfast. tapos meron sila ung 77 USD ung di pa instant confirmation hehe. Friday ung booking namin then pag convert sa peso around 3,600+
masmura pa rin ito kaysa Sonya’s kasi per head ung bayad dun hehehe
