Yesterday (Christmas day), SEAir surprised everyone with their dancing flight attendants not wearing their usual uniforms. They wore a Santa-inspired dress with a Santa hat. Mark Salling (Puck of Glee) was on that flight from Manila to Caticlan.

After the short dance number by the flight attendants, gifts were given to passengers.

I’ve heard so many things about Nuvali, Ayala Land’s development which focuses on evo-living, but it was only 3 weeks ago when I actually witnessed how wonderful this place is. Thanks to the invitation of Jayce Perlas, me and other media practitioners had a half day food tripping tour in Nuvali.

Aside from the food tasting bonanza that we did, my most favorite part of the whole tour was the fish feeding. Nuvali has a man-made lake which has various purposes. You can enjoy fish feeding in lake at the Solenad, the shopping and dining district in Nuvali. Fish feeding is free but you have to buy the fish feeds from them. It costs Php 15 per small bag. As you can see in the video above, the Japanese Kois enjoyed the feeds that visitors feed them. They’re actually a lot, I can’t really say how many they are, but there are gigantic Kois. Many say that Kois can live up to a century and I could just imagine that if it’s already the next century, the Kois in this lake can actually take over the entire province! Haha, just kidding.

It was only today when I realized that there is a tranvia/jeepney in Luneta Park. The ride costs 50 pesos per person (20 pesos per child) and the driver will take you around the vicinity of the Luneta Park, where Jose Rizal’s monument stands. At first, we thought that it’s a real tram wherein it passes through tracks. Eventually, we realized that it runs using a diesel engine. I really don’t know how to call it so I just labeled it as tranvia jeepney. The tranvia has 2 separate coaches connected to each other so it really looks like a tranvia from afar.

I took a video of some of my blogger friends while riding the tranvia. It was a wonderful experience, and it made me feel like a child again. When you’re in Luneta Park, Manila, this is one thing you can do aside from strolling around or just take a rest in one of the benches there.
