Restaurant and Lobby</p>
<p>During our trip to Bacolod last February, three of Sha&#8217;s officemates joined us. We are 5 (five) in the group. Instead of getting two separate rooms, we decided to get the Family Suite where we just added an extra bed. The room is perfect for group and <a href="http://www.onthebeach.co.uk/l/family-holidays">family holidays</a> because our room has four single beds, one sofa, and a dining table and chairs that&#8217;s good for four people.</p>
<p><a title="Circle Inn - Family Room - 1 by karlaredor, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/karlaredor/5412923523/"><img src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5018/5412923523_1cfd54c003.jpg" alt="Circle Inn - Family Room - 1" width="500" height="333" /></a><br />
Single beds</p>
<p>For the bathroom, there are two cubicles for shower and there are two cubicles for the toilet which I like because it would be hard to follow our schedule if there&#8217;s only one shower and one toilet to be used by all of us. There&#8217;s a TV inside the room (yes, they do have cable). They also provide free Wi-Fi access which is available in all of the rooms with no extra charge. I&#8217;m sure that bloggers, and for those who will go to Bacolod for a business trip will surely enjoy this.</p>
<p><a title="Circle Inn - Family Room - 2 by karlaredor, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/karlaredor/5412924711/"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4113/5412924711_f5251fb952.jpg" alt="Circle Inn - Family Room - 2" width="333" height="500" /></a><br />
Dining Area</p>
<p>What I don&#8217;t like about the Family Suite is that there are a few outlets available for us to use for charging our cameras and mobile phones. Thus, if you&#8217;ll be checking in at Circle Inn&#8217;s Family Suite, I suggest for you to bring an extension cord. <img src='http://www.pinoytravelr.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif' alt=':D' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p><a title="Circle Inn - Family Room - 3 by karlaredor, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/karlaredor/5413534034/"><img src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5180/5413534034_954344540a.jpg" alt="Circle Inn - Family Room - 3" width="500" height="333" /></a><br />
TV and sofa</p>
<p>It&#8217;s too bad that the plunge pool jacuzzi is turned off at night. Thus, they were only able to swim at the other pool. If you plan to use their jacuzzi, just go there earlier. <img src='http://www.pinoytravelr.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif' alt=':D' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p><a title="Circle Inn - Family Room - 4 by karlaredor, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/karlaredor/5412926965/"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4127/5412926965_9450afcfe8.jpg" alt="Circle Inn - Family Room - 4" width="500" height="333" /></a><br />
Bathroom</p>
<p>Another thing that I like about Circle Inn is that there&#8217;s a nearby convenience store. It became easy for us to buy snacks and bottled water since we do not need to ride a jeep or walk further to be able to buy those items. <img src='http://www.pinoytravelr.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

1st waterfall at Mambukal Resort</p>
<p>It was in February when we first went to Mambukal Resort. From Circle Inn (the hotel where we stayed), we took a jeep and went off at Libertad (7 pesos). And then, we took a non-air-conditioned bus going to Mambukal which costs 35 pesos/pax (one way). Just tell the conductor that you&#8217;ll get off at Mambukal. And yes, the bus stops in front of Mambukal Resort.</p>
<p>The travel time from Bacolod to Mambukal is around 1.5 hours. It&#8217;s not that long. On the way to Mambukal, you&#8217;ll enjoy the scenery of the vast fields of sugar cane and of Mount Canlaon. <img src='http://www.pinoytravelr.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>Upon arriving Mambukal Resort, just go inside, and pay an entrance fee of 30 pesos for adults and 10 pesos for kids. <span id="more-919"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="2nd waterfalls at Mambukal Resort -2 by karlaredor, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/karlaredor/5421747118/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5020/5421747118_fb6a0a8ff6.jpg" alt="2nd waterfalls at Mambukal Resort -2" width="333" height="500" /></a><br />
2nd waterfall at Mambukal Resort</p>
<p>When we finally got inside the resort, the guides were already approaching us and asked us if we want to go and see the waterfalls. In Mambukal Resort, there are seven waterfalls. However, we weren&#8217;t able to see all of them. After preparing ourself for the hike that we won&#8217;t forget, we finally got two guides since we belong in a group of five.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="3rd waterfalls at Mambukal Resort by karlaredor, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/karlaredor/5421765466/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5139/5421765466_c8d0722eb3.jpg" alt="3rd waterfalls at Mambukal Resort" width="333" height="500" /></a><br />
3rd waterfall at Mambukal Resort</p>
<p>Going to the first waterfall was quite easy. After that, it became quite hard for the group especially that not all of us are physically fit. <img src='http://www.pinoytravelr.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif' alt=':D' class='wp-smiley' /> I think that it was harder for me because I have to keep my balance, thus, I was very careful when taking &nbsp;each step.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s good that the guide helped me in bringing my tripod. If not, I would probably need more time to finish the 2nd, 3rd, and 6th waterfalls.</p>
<p>We stayed longer at the 6th waterfalls where Sha, Kitel, Pichy and Carla took a dip in the pool there. As for me, I just savored the cool breeze and continued taking photos.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="6th waterfalls at Mambukal Resort - 12 by karlaredor, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/karlaredor/5421792276/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5060/5421792276_9556886baf.jpg" alt="6th waterfalls at Mambukal Resort - 12" width="500" height="333" /></a><br />
6th waterfall at Mambukal Resort</p>
<p>After that, the difficult hikes became all worth it. <img src='http://www.pinoytravelr.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> We didn&#8217;t proceed anymore to the 7th waterfall because it started to drizzle so we decided to go back. After the hike, we paid the guides 200 pesos each.</p>
<p>Swimming at the Mambukal Sulfur Pool is a must after the long trek. It will surely soothe your muscles. <img src='http://www.pinoytravelr.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> Then, we had our late lunch before going back to Bacolod City. There are food stalls inside the resort. Food is not that expensive and of course, they serve the famous Bacolod Chicken Inasal. Aside from the waterfalls, you can also enjoy other resort amenities at a very low cost. Half a day is enough to enjoy Mambukal Resort. For us, we only targeted to go to the waterfalls and have ourselves be relaxed at the Sulfur Pool.</p>
<p>There&#8217;s a bus outside Mambukal Resort that you can take if you&#8217;ll go back to Bacolod City. <img src='http://www.pinoytravelr.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

<p style="text-align: left;">It&#8217;s actually my first time to stay in any Microtel in the Philippines. I agree with most of my friends who have stayed in a Microtel Hotel,&nbsp; the experience is worthwhile. Aside from its clean facilities, Microtel boasts their chiropractic beds (like the ones you see above). Even though I only had 2 nights to sleep there, at least my back was able to experience at least 4 hours on it <img src='http://www.pinoytravelr.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif' alt=':D' class='wp-smiley' /> . It was such a comfort to lie down there after a tiring day from the activities.<span id="more-854"></span></p>
<p><a title="Microtel Davao Side Table by rockerfem, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/rockerfemsha/5696818328/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5221/5696818328_5d674bf3f0.jpg" alt="Microtel Davao Side Table" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<p>We stayed in double room which was worth around Php 2,500 per night. This includes 2 queen size beds, refrigerator, 1 bathroom, cable television. This room can occupy 4 people; perfect for families and groups of friends. What I liked about the room, aside from the chiropractic bed, is that it&#8217;s not very crowded. If your group has a lot of electronic gadgets (cellphones, laptops, Ipods, cameras, etc.), it would be best to bring your own extension cord or you may ask this from the reception.</p>
<p><a title="Davao Delicacies from Microtel Davao by rockerfem, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/rockerfemsha/5696816132/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2785/5696816132_b0d7ba822b.jpg" alt="Davao Delicacies from Microtel Davao" width="333" height="500" /></a></p>
<p>The bathroom is simple yet clean. The blow dryer is in the bathroom, it may be of a hassle if you want to dry your hair in the bedroom area. They also have bathroom freebies such as toothbrush, soaps, toothpaste, etc. so if you forgot some bathroom stuff, at least you have these freebies to use. Now speaking of freebies, they gave us some Davao delicacies &#8211; not sure if this is common to their paying customers.</p>
<p><a title="Microtel Davao Lobby by rockerfem, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/rockerfemsha/5696820140/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2549/5696820140_2da913b39d.jpg" alt="Microtel Davao Lobby" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<p>There&#8217;s no wifi in the room so I&#8217;d have to stay at the lobby. There are sockets there so there&#8217;s no problem if you want to charge your laptop while using the wifi.</p>
<p><a title="Buffet Table in Microtel Davao by rockerfem, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/rockerfemsha/5730150239/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2222/5730150239_6bd5bafb92.jpg" alt="Buffet Table in Microtel Davao" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<p>Microtel also has a small dining area where you can eat your breakfast. They don&#8217;t really have an in-house restaurant like other hotels. The food was good; they serve typical Filipino breakfast (rice and viands. Nothing really fancy.</p>
<p>The location of Microtel is strategic, it&#8217;s just 10 minutes away from the Davao International Airport. Also, it&#8217;s very accessible to public transportation and commercial district. It&#8217;s just opposite a 24-hour Mcdonald&#8217;s!<br />
Overall, I enjoyed my stay there because the place is clean and well maintained also, their staff are very courteous. They don&#8217;t hesitate to give me a smile whenever I see them. If I paid for my stay there, it will be worth my money.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">Two weeks ago, I stayed in Traders Hotel because a family friend &#8220;sold&#8221; us her overnight stay gift certificate for half the original price. It was a good deal and just used it so that it won&#8217;t be wasted. My mom and I stayed in their Deluxe Room which includes Breakfast buffet. I think the original price of this kind of room is about Php 5800 + per night. The best thing about this hotel is that every room as a complimentary broadband internet connection! You don&#8217;t need to pay extra because it&#8217;s already included the package.  I was online from 11 pm to around 5 am and didn&#8217;t have any extra cost! <span id="more-546"></span></p>

<p style="text-align: left;">In general, the room is nice and spacious. There&#8217;s a Samsung flat screen tv with cable. Too bad that they haven&#8217;t subscribed to High Definition cable so it didn&#8217;t really maximize the potential of the nice television <img src='http://www.pinoytravelr.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' /> .</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">The toilet and bath wasn&#8217;t that crowded as well. It has a bath tub (i&#8217;m not really a bath tub person) and shower. They also provided some complimentary bath stuff there.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">Mom and I went down to have breakfast. They have a buffet set up with different choices of breakfast food &#8211; Filipino, Continental, American, etc. They also have an eggs station, better be ready to tell the cook how you want your eggs to be done.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="Bread Section - Breakfast Buffet at Traders Hotel by rockerfem, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/rockerfemsha/5128185210/"><img src="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1393/5128185210_22edcb198b.jpg" alt="Bread Section - Breakfast Buffet at Traders Hotel" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Their breakfast selection is not that very extensive, however I just managed to get a few of the things that I love to eat for breakfast: sausage, bacon, bread, yogurt and potatoes. The food tastes average. Nothing really something to look forward to.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="My Breakfast at the Traders Hotel by rockerfem, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/rockerfemsha/5127581327/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4049/5127581327_f1f56bc745.jpg" alt="My Breakfast at the Traders Hotel" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Didn&#8217;t really have anything to do in the hotel so I decided have a dip in the pool after breakfast. It was just a small pool and the water was cold! Brrr. There&#8217;s a separate pool for kids and I&#8217;m the only adult swimming.  This area also has wifi so I was tweeting while I was sunbathing! Cool!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="Swimming Pool at the Traders Hotel by rockerfem, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/rockerfemsha/5127582213/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1327/5127582213_4bf04909ea.jpg" alt="Swimming Pool at the Traders Hotel" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Traders Hotel is recommendable for business people because of the free internet. It&#8217;s also best for people like me who do a lot of things online.  I really enjoyed my stay because of this. They also have very courteous staff, they do not discriminate Filipinos just because we&#8217;re Filipinos.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">TIP: If you&#8217;re around the CCP area and would like to have coffee and use the internet, you can drop by Coffee.com, their coffee shop which is open to non-guests. They have cheap coffees (around PHP 85 and above). Don&#8217;t order their fresh fruit juices, it&#8217;s super expensive (around PHP 200 +)!</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">Our overnight stay in One Tagaytay Place isn&#8217;t complete without trying their spa services at the O Spa. When we were in One Tagaytay Place, it was a stressful week at work for me so I really didn&#8217;t miss the chance to get a soothing massage. The photo above are rooms for individuals who want some privacy.<span id="more-575"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="Regenere Spa at One Tagaytay Place - 3 by karlaredor, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/karlaredor/5003190140/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4083/5003190140_92d6d637c2.jpg" alt="Regenere Spa at One Tagaytay Place - 3" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">When you enter the O Spa, you&#8217;ll notice the massage oil dispensers. You can choose what kind of massage oil you prefer. Just tell the receptionist whatever suits you.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="Regenere Spa at One Tagaytay Place - 7 by karlaredor, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/karlaredor/5003206344/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4103/5003206344_2944b29a27.jpg" alt="Regenere Spa at One Tagaytay Place - 7" width="333" height="500" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Our masseuse led us to the interior of O Spaand I was amazed because it&#8217;s not the typical enclosed spa. There&#8217;s an open area with a small pond and plants inside it. I immediately felt relaxed because of the &#8220;close to nature&#8221; feel. I love it.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="Regenere Spa at One Tagaytay Place - 5 by karlaredor, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/karlaredor/5002592185/"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4153/5002592185_8c01c864d1.jpg" alt="Regenere Spa at One Tagaytay Place - 5" width="333" height="500" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Karla and I chose the couples room. The interiors are very nice. There&#8217;s a big mirror, candles and small pond (with no fish on it). There&#8217;s also one bathroom/shower with two entrances. The couples room is not just a room for two people, but it gives an intimate experience for a couple as well. When you&#8217;re in One Tagaytay Place, you must try their massage. They&#8217;ve got courteous staff and you&#8217;ll really feel pampered.</p>

<p>Me and Sha were able to experience an overnight stay of One Tagaytay Place courtesy of the hotel. We weren&#8217;t really expecting a big room since we were told that we will get to stay in a Deluxe Twin room. We were overwhelmed when we&#8217;re told that our room has been upgraded to a one-bedroom suite. <span id="more-552"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="One Bedroom Suite at One Tagaytay Place - 2 by karlaredor, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/karlaredor/5003151798/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4113/5003151798_1b73820bdb.jpg" alt="One Bedroom Suite at One Tagaytay Place - 2" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<p>The one-bedroom suite&#8217;s space inside the bedroom is ideal for two people but it can accommodate one more bed. With the additional bed, the people occupying inside the room can still move around. There are two televisions in the suite. There&#8217;s one LCD TV inside the bedroom and another LCD TV (a bigger one) in the receiving area of our room.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="One Bedroom Suite at One Tagaytay Place - 3 by karlaredor, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/karlaredor/5003155120/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4125/5003155120_1c9b358388.jpg" alt="One Bedroom Suite at One Tagaytay Place - 3" width="333" height="500" /></a></p>
<p>What I like about our room in One Tagaytay Place is that the furniture that were used are well thought of. The dresser that doubles as a desk is one of those furniture that I&#8217;m amazed of. Our room has a mini refrigerator, and an electronic kettle as well.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="One Bedroom Suite at One Tagaytay Place - 4 by karlaredor, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/karlaredor/5003159154/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4149/5003159154_bd197a06bf.jpg" alt="One Bedroom Suite at One Tagaytay Place - 4" width="333" height="500" /></a></p>
<p>The bathroom is not spacious. What I like about it though is the option to use hot/cold water from the shower. Of course, this amenity is a must especially in Tagaytay. A glass divider (between the shower area and the toilet area) would have been a great addition though.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="Entrance of One Tagaytay Place by karlaredor, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/karlaredor/5002627393/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4092/5002627393_f6d993b715.jpg" alt="Entrance of One Tagaytay Place" width="500" height="333" /></a><br />
Entrance of One Tagaytay Place</p>
<p>One Tagaytay Place is just one of the hotels in Tagaytay where you can stay all-day long. The hotel has a spa, a restaurant, a bar, a gym, a pasalubong shop, a swimming pool, a game room and free internet access! <img src='http://www.pinoytravelr.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif' alt=':D' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

<p>In the whole duration of our trip in Puerto Princesa, we stayed at Pads by Legend Hotels. Pads is situated just beside Legend Hotel and both share the same entrance, same frontdesk and same staff. By the time we arrived in front of the hotel entrance, we were welcomed by festive music while a garland made up of shells were hung around us. <span id="more-497"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="PADS by Legend Hotel - 2 by karlaredor, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/karlaredor/4413843980/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4068/4413843980_8e627aa8e4.jpg" alt="PADS by Legend Hotel - 2" width="333" height="500" /></a></p>
<p>I&#8217;m not sure though if they do it for each guest that arrives there but it was also the same time when some members of the Knights of Columbus arrived.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="PADS by Legend Hotel - 1 by karlaredor, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/karlaredor/4413070405/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2790/4413070405_b24ee89271.jpg" alt="PADS by Legend Hotel - 1" width="500" height="357" /></a><br />
Twin Flat</p>
<p>The room we got in Pads is a Twin Flat which has two single beds that are perpendicular to each other. The room has a flat screen television with Cable and air-conditioner. There&#8217;s also a telephone inside the room that you can use if ever you need room service. It also has a private bathroom. If you&#8217;re planning to have your stay there, you do not need to bring towels since they have one already. Inside the bathroom, there&#8217;s soap and shampoo (of small sizes) provided.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="PADS by Legend Hotel - 3 by karlaredor, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/karlaredor/4413863910/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4017/4413863910_19491d1341.jpg" alt="PADS by Legend Hotel - 3" width="333" height="500" /></a></p>
<p>Outlets provided in the room are enough. Me and Sha can charge our phones and cameras simultaneously. <img src='http://www.pinoytravelr.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif' alt=':D' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>Even though the area of the room is quite small, I&#8217;m satisfied with our stay in Pads since our purpose in going to Puerto Princesa is to travel around. <img src='http://www.pinoytravelr.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>A hotel booking in Pads is inclusive of one-way airport transfer (airport to the hotel). Breakfast is not included but you can dine at the restaurant of Legend Hotel and avail their buffet breakfast 350 pesos per head). If you&#8217;ll be in Palawan for a business trip, it&#8217;s also good to stay there since their lobby has Wi-Fi The rate of our room is 720 pesos per night. FYI, the room rates vary depending on the date you&#8217;ll stay there. The rate that we got was actually lower than what was quoted to me. We stayed there from March 5 to 7, 2010 (2 nights only).</p>
<p>For me, the rate that we got is reasonable. <img src='http://www.pinoytravelr.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

<p>We departed from McKinley Hill, Fort Bonifacio at around 6am and got there at around 9am. Length of travel time includes two stopovers at around 15 minutes each.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Living Room at the Seaons Botanic Gardens</p>
<p>The Seasons Botanic Gardens is a 4-star hotel in South Melbourne that was chosen by my employer as my accommodation during my stay there for my training. So coming from my employer&#8217;s office in Stead Street, I took a cab going to 348 St. Kilda Road. It only took me 10 minutes going there and my taxi fare was around AUD $7.50 (Php 352 ). I had no choice but to take a cab because I still have my luggage with me. Their check in time is at 2:00 pm and since I arrived Melbourne at 7:30 am, I really couldn&#8217;t go straight to the hotel to check in.</p>
<p>I have seen their <a href="http://www.seasonsbotanicgardensmelbourne.com.au/">website </a>and knew that they have apartment style hotel rooms but I did not expect it to be really big. I stayed in 2 rooms during my stay in South Melbourne. I transferred to my second room on my 6th day because the air-conditioner in my first room wasn&#8217;t working.<span id="more-204"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="kitchen and dining in Seasons Botanical Gardens by rockerfem, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/31547707@N03/4121792045/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2543/4121792045_a8a290ac0c.jpg" alt="kitchen and dining in Seasons Botanical Gardens" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Kitchen and Dining Area</p>
<p>As mentioned, their rooms are apartment style. It has a kitchen which has almost everything that you need such as a dishwasher, oven, electric stove, refrigerator, electric water heater, coffee maker, silverware, plates, cups, cooking pans and pots, wooden spoon and many other. I can have something cooked while I was there, however, I really didn&#8217;t have the energy anymore to cook whenever I go home from work. This is what I liked in Seasons, it&#8217;s like you&#8217;re living in your own house except that it there is housekeeping everyday (except Sundays).</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="King Size Bed in my Hotel Room by rockerfem, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/31547707@N03/4121792013/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2587/4121792013_c79b3e4cf3.jpg" alt="King Size Bed in my Hotel Room" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Bedroom</p>
<p>I had a king size bed in my room. It&#8217;s sad that I don&#8217;t have anyone to share it with, so it seems quite big for me. The bed was comfortable to sleep in and the pillows were soft. Inside the bedroom, there&#8217;s a big closet with full-sized mirrors. It has a television in the bedroom too. I love the big glass window beside my bed because of the view. I even got to see 2 hot air balloons for the first time ever before going to work on my 2nd day there.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="Hot Air Balloon in Melbourne by rockerfem, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/31547707@N03/4121793105/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2524/4121793105_320a42a1fd.jpg" alt="Hot Air Balloon in Melbourne" width="440" height="319" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Hot Air Balloon Spotted Through My Window at 6:00 am</p>
<p>The living room (as shown in the first photo above) is very comfortable. After work, I would eat dinner while watching television. Their cable television only has 7 English channels. Most of them are Australian channels. I think I was able to watch a Filipino news show, &#8220;Bandila&#8221;, while I was channel surfing. I think they subscribed to TFC for a short time. So all in all, I have 2 televisions in my hotel room.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="Bathrom in my Hotel Room by rockerfem, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/31547707@N03/4121792021/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2521/4121792021_d98a01fcd9.jpg" alt="Bathrom in my Hotel Room" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Bathroom</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">The bathroom is just right. It has a tub, shower, toilet and the best of it all is that it has a hair dryer attached to the wall near the mirror! It makes hair drying much easier!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="Living Room in my 2nd Hotel Room by rockerfem, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/31547707@N03/4121841913/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2786/4121841913_f0f2878624.jpg" alt="Living Room in my 2nd Hotel Room" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="Kitchen and Dining Area in my 2nd Hotel Room by rockerfem, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/31547707@N03/4121841921/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2614/4121841921_bc48614a2a.jpg" alt="Kitchen and Dining Area in my 2nd Hotel Room" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Now for my second room, I was surprised that they gave me a much bigger room than mine. It&#8217;s bigger than my own house. The kitchen is much bigger because there are more counters than the first room I had.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="IMG_5656 by rockerfem, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/31547707@N03/4121792057/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2736/4121792057_cba684183c.jpg" alt="IMG_5656" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="IMG_5657 by rockerfem, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/31547707@N03/4121792065/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2717/4121792065_23dc8c15e8.jpg" alt="IMG_5657" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">These photos were the views from my window (first room). Top photo is the view of the city and the photo below is the Royal Botanical Gardens.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="Trams in Melbourne by rockerfem, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/31547707@N03/4117694194/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2775/4117694194_1a87cb469f.jpg" alt="Trams in Melbourne" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Transportation isn&#8217;t a problem in this area because right across the street are the trams which can take you to different parts of Melbourne. There are also buses that pass by the area. It only took me 10 minutes to go to the city. Also, the hotel is just the opposite of the Royal Botanical Gardens and the Shrine of Remembrance so you can have a stroll around the beautiful parks.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="Full Breakfast Buffet at Seasons by rockerfem, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/31547707@N03/4121983649/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2588/4121983649_9c6af46c91.jpg" alt="Full Breakfast Buffet at Seasons " width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">My accommodation includes free breakfast everyday (continental breakfasts during weekdays and full breakfasts on weekends). If it&#8217;s a weekday and you are craving for full breakfast, you can avail of the upgrade for only AUD $6.00 (Php 258) The only thing I didn&#8217;t like here is that the dishes that they serve for breakfast buffet do not change. It&#8217;s always grilled tomatoes, grilled sausages, bacon and scrambled eggs. They taste okay but nothing really spectacular.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="Eggs Benedict at the Seasons by rockerfem, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/31547707@N03/4122768472/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2765/4122768472_7fc23cde5d.jpg" alt="Eggs Benedict at the Seasons" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">It was only during my last day in the hotel when I was able to eat a different meal. They removed the buffet table for some reason and I was craving for full breakfast. I had an upgrade and chose Eggs Benedict for my breakfast. That&#8217;s the only time I had a different meal for breakfast.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Everything in the hotel is okay except that their internet broadband connection is really expensive. It costs AUD $24.95, (Php 1,072.75, valid for 24 hours) and you can also use their wireless internet in their restaurant for AUD $ 5.95 (Php 255.85) but only for 30 minutes (with free cup of coffee). This is the reason why I can&#8217;t blog while I was there.</p>
<p>Since this is a business trip, my employer paid for my accommodation which costs AUD $1,008 (Php 43,344). I believe they have a booking fee for first time customers which costs around AUD $ 4.50 and also a surcharge depending on your credit card.</p>

<p>The resort is one of the popular choices of destinations where to have team building and as well as youth camps.</p>

<p>Our group availed of the Duplex type of accommodation and it is inclusive of:</p>
<p>1. Entrance fee.<br />
2. Full board buffet style meals (Breakfast, Lunch &amp; Dinner).<br />
3. Free flowing coffee &amp; hot tea during meal time.<br />
4. Overnight accommodation (aircon room with cable TV).<br />
5. Free use of swimming pool, slip n slide, earthball, monster basketball and obstacle course.<br />
6. Free use of slide pinoy &amp; hanging bridge.<br />
7. Ferry boat ride to and from the resort (24 hours service)<br />
8. Jeepney transfer inside the resort</p>
<p>The duplex has 5 double deck beds located on its first floor. On its second floor, there are mattresses. Each duplex unit has a capacity of around 14 people. Each unit has two restrooms (one in the first floor and one in the second floor). Each restroom has 3 cubicles (2 for shower, 1 for toilet).</p>
<p>I think that the Duplex/Dormitory units is a good choice because you&#8217;ll get to enjoy a better view of Caliraya Lake.</p>
<p>Some of the activities that you can do in Caliraya Recreation Center are:</p>
<p>Canoeing</p>
